INVITATION
Global protests active audiences' voices and their alternative multimedia
We are pleased to invite COST colleagues to a cross-working group meeting on April 18 at 11:00-13:00 to discuss and elaborate on the multifaceted phenomena of ongoing global protests, which are spreading through Europe too.
These networked local-national, glocal and global offline and online active audiences, "produsing" their alternative, even radical multimedia, seem to set challenges to audience research.
These preliminary research themes, ideas and questions are offered as a comparative project of COST members.
COST Colleagues who would like to participate in this meeting on April 18 11:00 – 13:00 are kindly invited.
Any ideas, remarks and queries are very welcome!
If you are not able to attend the Tampere meeting but are interested in joining our project,
please do not hesitate to get in touch with the initiators.
