WG1 “New Media Genres, Media Literacy, and Trust in the Media”
WG1 “New Media Genres, Media Literacy, and Trust in the Media”looks into people’s relation to their overall media environment of old and new media, and the various sense-making strategies they bring to bear on individual media as well as on the media ensemble.The WG explores, for instance, phenomena like the hybridization of content and genres, and the blurring of boundaries between public/private or production/consumption.
