Abstract: The ECREA European Media and Communication Doctoral Summer School took place in the exquisite Slovene capital Ljubljana from 12 to 25 August 2012. It provided supportive International setting where 45 doctoral students (from all around the Europe) presented their ongoing PhD projects, received feedback and established valuable academic contacts. I was among these ambitious scholars owing to award by the Management Committee of the COST Action ISO906 “Transforming Audience, Transforming Societies”. The SuSo provided a variety of working forms, including feedback seminars, workshops, and lectures by 23 very experienced lecturers with rich academic careers. The programme was very well-structured and organized with a superb physical setting for study. Every learning moment during the programme was so fruitful and enriched with pleasant excitement that all of us could be inspired. The social events also took important role in this year Summer school.
