Revitalising Audiences: Innovations in European Audience Research (provisional title)
New Call for Papers incorporating the discussion on innovations
(Brussels, April 2012)
Revitalising Audiences is the third volume of the COST Action ISO906 ‘Transforming Audience, Transforming Societies’. Bringing together pioneering research on key transformations of European audiences within a changing media and communication environment, this collection looks at the complex interrelationships that exist at the social, cultural and political level of contemporary European societies.
Following the publication of the first edited volume of the Action, Researching Audiences in Transformation, encompassing new challenges and methodological innovations in audience research, and the second volume Transformations, promoting the principal research themes of the Action, this third edited volume provides a platform for innovative approaches in audience research from across the breadth of the Action’s interests.
Deadline for first initial abstracts/expression of interests (300 words): 15 June 2012
